It was a good day. We had green waffles for breakfast. (I couldn't help, but recite Dr. Seuss's Green Eggs and Ham.) Adam continued to ask me if people would really pinch him if he didn't wear green. It was the funniest thing because he was taking it so seriously. Jarom just thought it was great we all got to wear green. They would say things like,
"Mom, look at my glass! It doesn't have to get pinched because it's wearing green."
By the end of the day they were well acquainted with the wearin' o' the green.
Other great, completely unrelated news. Adam got his pins out one week ago. This was a total surprise to me. His new bone is growing well and he is out of a cast.
Well, I hope you all had a great St. Patrick's Day. Here's a little poem for you all!
For each petal on the shamrock
This brings a wish your way -
Good health, good luck, and happiness
For today and every day.
